Mastic Beach Fire Department - Responded to a signal 13/35 at 12:35 P.M.
Under the command of Chief Mike Montella were Commissioner/Firefighter Charlie O'Connor & Firefighter Ray Bell to 22 Stackyard Drive.
Forced entry was made since heavy smoke was showing inside.
It was said that the baby sitter left to pick up child from school & take him to Wendy's leaving baby bottles boiling in pot on stove, all bottles melted after water boiled away.
