July 30, 2022  House Fire Argyle Drive

On Saturday July 30, 2022 at around 2:11 PM the Mastic Beach Fire Department was toned out for a structure fire on Argyle Drive and William Floyd Pkwy.

The message from fire com was that they received multiple calls for this call and that there might be people trapped in the home.

Arriving first on scene was Chief Jeff McGown who confirmed a working fire and requested a signal 3 for Mastic Beach Fire Department and a signal 24 to Mastic Fire Department. Chief McGown with the assistance of two Suffolk County Police rescued an elderly Man that was bed ridden and on oxygen.Chief Fred Loiacono arrived on scene and called fire com and requested a signal 24 to Brookhaven FD and Center Moriches for a RIT team to the scene.

First truck on scene was Mastic Beach Unit 2 with a full crew who were ordered to pull two 1-1⁄2 “ lines to the rear of the building.
