Mastic Beach Fire Department responded to a signal 13/35 at 54 Pennant Drive - First on scene was Chief McGown followed by Chief Montella and Chief Capersino - Unit 2 was first truck on scene and the crew started the attack on the fire.
Mastic FD Was requested to the scene with a pumper. It was said that the owner returning from running some errands returned with her small children and opened the front door to find the house full of smoke, she immediately closed the door and took the
children away from the house and called 911.
